Discover new insights on cognition measures across the life course with the latest update to CLOSER’s cross-study guide on cognitive data.
The latest information on cognitive data
CLOSER’s cognitive data guide now includes a summary of cognition measurement across 19 UK longitudinal population studies and in-depth information about measurements of cognition from more recent data collections in four studies.
In this latest update, you will discover the following:
- Details of cognitive data from the most recent data collections across the four studies,
- Cognitive tests and questions that have been used in each study,
- The year these tests were used,
- Who responded (e.g. age and type of respondent),
- Descriptive statistics for each measure also give an indication of the sample size achieved and any ceiling or floor effects.
Discover new insights
With these latest insights on longitudinal population-level data on policy-relevant cognition topics, researchers, policymakers and public health professionals can:
- Explore life course data on cognition, including memory, executive function, and literacy and numeracy skills.
- Identify where longitudinal data and repeated measurements can enable exploration of trends and changes in cognition over time.
