We are delighted to announce the publication of our new strategic plan, which outlines our purpose, strategic goals and new organisational values.
CLOSER’s 2024-28 strategic plan provides a clear articulation of our priorities and work programme as set out in our successful ESRC-funded grant bid.
Grounded in best practices in leadership and management, the plan showcases our new vision and outlines clear strategic priorities that will support us in being a more purpose-driven and impactful organisation.
The plan also sets out our organisational values, which were developed through a collaborative exercise with the entire CLOSER team. As such, these represent our core beliefs and principles which will guide the decisions we make.

Prof Jennifer Symonds, Director of CLOSER:
“Our new strategic plan captures everything that we are striving to achieve over the next four years. I’m incredibly proud of the CLOSER team for how we have developed this plan together, building from our core values to our vision of the future for LPS data. I can’t wait for us to get this underway!”
