The CLOSER team invite you to present your research findings to the longitudinal research community in one of our new Emerging Longitudinal Scholar Webinars. Whether your research is on education, health, mental health, methods, neuroscience, policy, socio-economic trends, or beyond, we want to showcase your innovative insights.

Join us in building a network of emerging scholars who are at the frontier of longitudinal data exploration.

You are welcome to present your research alone, or with your academic mentor. Research presentations should be approximately 15 to 20 minutes long. You can present new findings or research you have already presented at a conference.

This collaborative platform aims to foster knowledge exchange and showcase the exciting work currently using UK Longitudinal Population Study (LPS) data.

How to submit an abstract

If you are interested in contributing, please submit a concise 150-250-word abstract outlining the research you would like to present to Dr Neil Kaye: neil.kaye@ucl.ac.uk

Please include the following information in your submission:

  • your name and affiliation,
  • academic mentor (if relevant),
  • the LPS data you are using and your sample size,
  • analysis methods, and
  • (preliminary) results.

The deadline for submissions is Monday 6 November 2023.
