This webinar gave attendees the opportunity to find out more about the beta CLOSER Discovery website, what is next in development, as well as ask the CLOSER technical team questions.
CLOSER Discovery is an online resource that enables researchers to view and appraise data from eight leading UK longitudinal studies.
Users will be able to search by keyword, or browse by topic. Each search will provide a summary of the data available, how they were collected (including questions and protocols), and allow you to filter by study, topic and life stage.
Speakers Jon Johnson (Technical Lead on CLOSER Discovery) and Gemma Seabrook (Project Manager CLOSER Discovery) covered:
- Getting the best out of CLOSER Discovery – a short introduction to the functionality of CLOSER discovery, as well as a tour of the features within the beta website
- What is coming next – a short presentation on what is coming next, and what improvements the team are planning
- Q & A – the speakers answered questions and provided feedback on what they have so far and what they are planning.
