Life Study at University College London wish to recruit an experienced project manager to join the team responsible for delivering the UK’s newest birth cohort study. The role holder will project manage the piloting and implementation of a home visit survey, to be delivered by a third-party fieldwork agency, aiming to reach 20,000 babies and their families.

Life Study is an innovative world leading study, developed as a major initiative of the Economic and Social Research Council and the Medical Research Council in partnership with University College London. This study will follow the lives and health of babies and their families from across the UK, to investigate a wide range of influences operating in early life, which have implications for children’s health, well-being and development.

The post holder will have responsibility for the management of all key aspects of the project, including coordinating the working relationship with a global research agency and ensuring the achievement of all key deliverables and milestones. This post is for two years in the first instance.
