This webinar introduced the UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration and the new Trusted Research Environment for accessing longitudinal COVID-19 data linked with health and environment data. Videos and slides from the webinar can be found below.
About the webinar
The UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration (UK LLC) is a national research resource for COVID-19 research.
It’s a new and globally unique Trusted Research Environment (TRE) that offers predictable and efficient access to longitudinal data for researchers and analysts across the UK. Through a single application, the TRE offers pre-pandemic and pandemic data from more than 20 longitudinal population studies linked with health and environmental data.
This webinar took delegates through a step-by-step guide to applying for and accessing the linked data held within the TRE. The session covered the three-step application process, how to tailor your data requests, how data is provisioned and the range of tools and support available.
The webinar also covered how a panel of study representatives and members of the public are involved in the application process and the legal documentation you and your institution will need to comply with our Data Access and Acceptable Use Policy.
